Last Sabbath FAQs
Q. When is Last Sabbath?
Q. Where is Last Sabbath?
A. That depends! We go to a different restaurant every month. So far we've hit up everything from local breweries to LA classics to city parks for summertime picnics. We're always excited to explore new spots, so if you've got a suggestion let us know.
Q. What happens at Last Sabbath?
A. It's really very casual. Folks show up at 7:00 pm, and we take a few minutes to say hi, chat and peruse the menu. At 7:15 everyone gathers for a quick communal blessing over challah, candles and wine. After that, grab a seat, get a drink and some food, and spend the rest of the evening hanging out!
Q. Do I have to pay?
A. For dinner, yes. For the event, no! At the restaurant we'll seat you at a small table of 6-8; everyone orders off the regular menu, and each table pays its own bill at the end of the night. So please bring cash.
Q. Can I come?
A. Yes! You don't have to be a member of anything to join us, though we do ask that if you have kids they stay home. We take RSVPs-- it's the only way we can know how many seats to reserve!-- so please let us know if you're coming here.
Q. What does it look like?
A. Check out an album with some pictures from previous Last Sabbaths here!
