Join us for shabbat blessings, delicious dinner,
& connecting with BIG community!
For Spring/Summer 2023 we are doing our monthly Shabbos a little more“quick & dirty” with less service and more food + conversation. Each month we will kick off the night with drinks, schmoozing, and time to hang and play in the SIJCC courtyard. This is followed by the usual Shabbat blessings, and a big community meal. During dinner, we feature special guests from our community to talk about issues that are important to our Jewish community. This month our very own ESJ member Emma Tasini will share about her work with Healthcare in Action, an innovative street medicine team of nurses, doctors and therapists who bring care to our unhoused neighbors.
In collaboration with Healthcare in Action we will be collecting hygiene supplies that Healthcare in Action will distribute. You can bring donations to Shabbat or drop them off at the COLLECTION BIN in the SIJCC starting Monday May 1st. We are collecting:
Toothbrush & toothpaste
Bar soap or travel sized body soap
Sunscreen
Chapstick
Pads & tampons
Deodorant
Wipes
