Teen Program

SIJCC’s Teen Program is a safe space for teens in grades 8-12 to explore the world they live in and discover who they want to be in that world. We do this through social time, exploring current events through a Jewish lens and providing a safe space for teens to discuss issues related to their lives. This program is led by highly skilled and trained teen educators. In addition to providing a safe space for teens, the JLC program hosts parents three times during the school year to discuss issues and challenges related to raising a teen in today’s world. These sessions involve social time as well as discussions facilitated by highly trained experts in the field. For more information please reach out to Natasha Newman-Tobin, Director of Jewish Learning Center at Natasha@sijcc.net.

When & Where We Meet

Teens meet at the SIJCC two Sunday evenings each month for approximately 18 sessions per year. We may also meet around town in parks, peoples’ homes, or cafes when appropriate.
