FAQ

Q: Is anyone welcome?

A: Absolutely! We are everybody-friendly and God-optional.

Q: Is this appropriate for children?

A: Children are welcome at all events. In addition, we’ve got events tailored for all age groups. You could bring your child to the experience or (while your children are with their peers), fully immerse yourself in the rituals of the holidays.

Q: Will there be security?

A: Security measures give us all peace of mind that we can gather safely so we will have a security checkpoint with professional security personnel. We ask that every adult show a photo ID that matches the name on their ticket. Please arrive early.

Q: Is it wheelchair accessible?

A: Yes, the Box is wheelchair accessible and accessible bathrooms are available in the ECE building. Please contact us for additional accessible needs at info@sijcc.net.

Q: WHAT ARE THE CHILDCARE DETAILS?

A: This year our 2 - 5 year old ticket comes with childcare and youth experiences included. Tot service is from 9:30 - 9:45 am. Any child attending to the tot service must have a parent present. If your child is not attending the tot service they may go directly to childcare. Childcare ends at noon.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Whatever feels comfortable! Everything from jeans to suits is fine. Some people wear white on Yom Kippur, but that’s not required. We want you to be able to focus on what’s happening on the inside, not the outside.

Q: Do I have to buy my child a ticket?

A: A ticket must be purchased for each child over the age of two.

Q: Can my child go to childcare if I am not going to the service?

A: Childcare is only available for attendees of our Days of Awesome services.

Q: I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

A: If you need to cancel your tickets, we’ll miss you! Refunds are available up to 7 days before each event. After that, we cannot provide a refund.

Q: Where do I park?

A: There will be no on-site parking available for these events. Please see below for area parking information.
