This month, we are beginning a partnership our new friends, Mort & Betty’s Vegan Jewish Deli! Mort & Betty’s is local, woman-run, 100% vegan, & made from scratch. The menu is seasonal, based on what’s available at farmer’s markets throughout Los Angeles, and they choose organic over conventional farming when given an option.  

For all of April, Mort & Betty’s is collaborating with Bakers Against Racism, so in addition to their standard menu items, they are baking brownies with 100% of sale proceeds going to AAPI orgs, including: Chinatown Community For Equitable Development (@ccedla), Stop AAPI Hate California (@stopaapihate), and AAPI Women Lead (@aapiwomenlead). 

In order to support these efforts, we have created an SIJCC community order form.

Order deadline is Tuesday, April 20th at 9 PM!

Pickup at SIJCC on Friday, April 23rd between noon and 5 PM.
