Celebrate HanuKkah with community!
For our December monthly shabbat we are celebrating the 5th night of Hanukkah together! This will be an East Side Jews spin on the classic with a community-led evening of songs, prayers and blessings followed by a little Hanukkah party where there will be plenty of time for schmoozing, noshing, and of course— lighting the menorah! You bring your friends, we’ll bring the food, drink and holiday treats.
WHO:
All are welcome! Whether this is your first time celebrating Shabbat or Hanukkah, or if you light candles every Friday and display a menorah year-round, this event is for YOU. All ages and religious (or not) backgrounds can enjoy this event! Note: There will be alcohol at this event. Childcare is not provided.
WHAT:
Light buffet style dinner followed by a short, musical, community-led shabbat service and mass menorah lighting (bring yours from home) ! Come ready to delight in Palikao latkes, Shabbat song singing, Kettle Donuts, and even a little dancing! The night ends in a big bright Hanukkah celebration!
