Come celebrate the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, with the SIJCC community!
tickets required
We will re:turn to the central themes of this holiday, hear the shofar, celebrate the newness in our lives, and mourn our losses. The Days of Awesome are a time to go inwards and reflect upon the last year, acknowledge the milestones, and tune-in to the times we have fallen short, the interactions or experiences that are still irking us, and work to find peace. We will sing and meditate and pray, and most importantly, experience this time together.
Services will be led by Rosie Moss and music-directed by Abby Litman featuring a band of returning musicians.
Children under 2 do not need to purchase a ticket. They are able to attend the Tot Service with their parents but are not eligible for childcare.
Who should come?
Whether this is your first Rosh Hashanah Gathering, or you come every year, the Days of Awesome are an opportunity for you to connect to yourself and your community
Children are welcome at all Days of Awesome events. In addition, we’ve got events tailored for all age groups. You could bring your child to the experience or (while your children are with their peers), fully immerse yourself in the rituals of the holidays.
All children over the age of two must either purchase a youth ticket or purchase child care.
