Freedom & Justice Seder: Resilience in the Face of Crisis

On the 21st of Nissan, the Jewish people crossed the sea and came out on the other side, only to face a long journey up ahead.

Join East Side Jews as we reinterpret the “Meal of Moshiach,” end-of-Passover seder, and decide what our own communal liberation journey looks like. Pulling from history lessons, Passover stories, wise ancestors, and our favorite haggadot, we’ll honor where we’ve been, where we are now, and where we are going.

Important notes about what to expect

The East Side Jews Activist Collective has prepared a custom haggadah for our seder that will make the anti-capitalist, anti-establishment parts of our souls sing. It is designed to stretch our views of what a liberated world could look like. Come ready for a dive into art, poetry, lefty musings, and an unapologetically radical take on the Exodus narrative and our role as social justice warriors today.

Adult focused but all are welcome. Come as you are, no food or seder plate required. This event will run approximately 75 minutes.

Brought to you by the East Side Jews Activist Collective.
