Take some time to unwind this holiday season with the help of yoga! In this all-levels outdoor yoga class, we will link breath with movement as we flow slowly and stretch deeply to fantastic mellow tunes. This class will have something for everyone, whether it is your very first yoga class or your 100th! Stay and nosh on some delicious bagels and sip coffee + mimosas with your fellow SIJCC community members post-class.
For the fifth year in a row, attendees of this event will be transported into a ridiculous, hilarious, and probably uncomfortable family living room by way of our 2021 event! Not your typical Chanukah party, Master Debater is a no holds barred show where two teams of Jews face off in three rounds of high school style debate. The teams, made up of shrewd comedians, witty rabbis, nerds, normies, and more, argue the most pressing issues of our tradition. Previous topics include: NY Jews vs. LA Jews, Plagues: Real or Fake, Circumcision: yay or nay, and many more. This year is extra special as we’ll be incorporating live musical elements, a giant menorah candle lighting, and special VIP cocktail hour!
Join East Side Jews as we reinterpret the “Meal of Moshiach”, end-of-Passover seder, and decide what our own communal liberation journey looks like. Pulling from history lessons, Passover stories, wise ancestors, and our favorite haggadot, we’ll honor where we’ve been, where we are now, and where we are going.
Yom Kippur Home: The place that is our sanctuary, the place of our confinement. This Yom Kippur you are invited into our homes, and we are a part of your home as we continue to explore the bounds of virtual gatherings. Yom Kippur is about t'shuvah, a returning to our home base, a coming back around and we will be with you in whatever way we can.

This Year’s Flu Vaccine Could Be the Most Important One You Ever Get
Rosh Hashanah Face: As we look at little faces on screens, at covered faces in masks, we grapple with what it means to be face-to-face with the sacred. How do we face this year’s challenges? How do we face the loss of the way of life that was?
Thank you for your interest in our elementary day camp-style learning program that we’re currently calling Learning Lab.
We’d like to invite you to a focus group/info session on Tuesday evening at 8 PM. If you can join us, please register here for the Zoom link.
We want to hear in more detail about how our plans meet (or could meet) your current needs. We can also answer questions and share everything we know now about the program.
If you have time in advance, please review the additional details:
Some updated information about what we’re thinking of offering: https://www.sijcc.net/elementary-education-support
