Common Questions
Can I come late or leave early?
Of course! It’s Purim! You do you. Spiel will start around 7pm.
Are drinks included?
Oh yes, this is an open bar event. Our bar keepers will be pouring wine, beer, and soda all night long.
Suppose I get hungry?
We’ll provide delicious Pupusas, party snacks, and obviously Hamantaschen.
What do I wear?
Costumes and glitter are highly encouraged but not required. In the spirit of Purim we support folks showing up as wacky as ever, but racist costumes will be denied entry. Additionally, Purim tends to be a time folks experiment with gender presentation. Gender play in the spirit of jubilance and expression is welcome, but no misogyny or bigotry against GNC/Trans folks will be tolerated.
Should my kids come?
Teens ages 13 and up are more than welcome to party with us under parental supervision. If you have questions about attending with your teens, feel free to reach out.
Where do I park/enter?
The SIJCC address is 1110 Bates Avenue. Our Onsite Parking Lot and event entrance is located off Effie street. Come early to secure your spot! Street parking is also available.
What’s the spiel theme?
It’s a surprise, duh.
