Tu B'Shvat is a minor mystic holiday which translates to “New Year of the Trees”. It is a fertile time for looking towards the future; for planting seeds to watch them grow. When we think of newness and growth we often think of the spring, but community doesn’t spring up out of nowhere! We’ve got sowing to do before Winter is done.
Join us for our first ever, informal, Tu B'Shvat snacking seder! An afternoon of hangtime, and exciting conversation about all of the possibilities for East Side Jews in 2020. In the spirit of this holiday we’ll consider our energy, and where we want to invest it. Come with casual curiosities, or big wild dreams of the experiences ESJ could offer, and what our community might look and feel like in the coming year.
You can count on wine, delicious snacks, and more nature metaphors.
