Zingen Far Sholem, Singing for Peace, is a Yiddish community chorus that meets at the Silverlake Independent JCC, 3 Tuesdays a month from 7:30 to 9:00 PM.

The ability to read music is not required as long as you can learn by ear. Speaking Yiddish is not a prerequisite either. Members receive recordings of each song to practice on their own, and we make time each week to go over pronunciation and translation of each piece.
